We are both academic ecologists, studying terrestrial and marine ecosystems in the area respectively for the last 20 years. We both fell in love with the Assynt area, its mountains, wildlife, including water vole populations, sea birds and marine mammals, as well as fantastic sea kayaking opportunities.
